Dear New Claim Owners,
We have received the following Prospector Square Newsletter from the PSPOA regarding what to expect for parking and snow removal for the next 5 months. We want to share it with all of you so that we can all be prepared for the winter season parking, along with potential ticketing and towing. Please share this information with anyone planning to use your unit during the upcoming winter season. This is Prospector’s decision on how they will handle the parking situation in all of Prospector (Lot D outside of New Claim is part of that), which has become very strained. We will post specific information regarding Lot D as we receive it. If you have questions please call Joshua at Prospector: 801-891-9116.
*Also, the new parking plan and passes will be voted on by the Prospector HOA Board on November 28, 2017. We will continue to use the expired purple passes until Prospector finalizes the parking plan and provides us with our parking plan.
This memo outlines what to expect for parking and snow removal during the next 5 months in Prospector Square. Snow Storage Areas Several parking stalls throughout the Square will be closed to accommodate for snow storage areas. Each snow storage area will require a minimum of three parking stalls. Snow will be pushed and stored in these stalls until the snow piles justify off-site snow hauling. Areas will be clearly marked with no parking signs. Please do not move or remove any no parking signs for any reason. Please do not park in the snow storage area stalls Vehicles parked in snow storage areas will be immediately towed at owners expense. Parking Lot Closures Snow removal may require to completely close certain parking lots at certain times. Closures will take place at night and will require cars to park in other PSPOA parking lots not scheduled for closures at the same time. PSPOA will make every attempt to post signs and distribute emails regarding parking lot closures 36 hours in advance. Please pay attention to all sign postings and email communications. Vehicles left in closed parking lots after the removal deadline will be towed at owner’s expense. Due to the time and labor demands as well as snow removal efficiency, individual contact of vehicle owners will not be pursued for car removal regardless of any parking permit identification that may be displayed. If vehicle owners plan to travel or leave their vehicle on PSPOA property for an extended length of time, written permission is required by the PSPOA Board. Additionally, the vehicle owner must make arrangements for their car to be cleared from a closed lot, if necessary. Communications All questions, concerns and requests regarding snow removal should be communication directly to PSPOA management via phone, email or in-person. Please do not communicate directly to any of the snow removal team. Comments to the snow removal team are a distraction and create confusion. The staff members are simply doing what they are told by their employer, which is what they are told by PSPOA management. Harassment and criticism of the snow removal team is strictly prohibited.
Your understanding and continued cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please enjoy the upcoming snow and ski season. And thank you in advance for helping us keep the lots clear of snow and ice. Please contact Joshua Mellor with any questions or concerns at 801-891-9116. Info@prospectorsquare.com | 435-658-6023
